Rasos Alpaca Wool Socks
- Made with 50% alpaca and 50% eco wool
- Handmade in Lithuania
Rasos, which means ‘morning dew’ in Lithuanian, served as the inspiration for these socks, reminiscent of barefoot walks on Baltic grass in the early hours. To create the “braid” of laceholes that ascend the leg, artisans knit the socks from the toes up using circular needles. With the lace pattern strategically positioned at the front and back, you can wear these with summer sandals or clogs and let the design steal the show. Â
All Rasos socks are produced in small batches by female artisans in rural Lithuania. One pair alone takes one full day for an artisan to knit by hand. For the knit, they use 100% natural, deadstock yarn.
Care: Cold hand wash only and dry flat.
